Repeat Prescriptions

pillsStethIf you need a repeat prescription you may either fill in the form below or post, fax or deliver your repeat prescription request to the surgery at least 48 hours before you intend to collect your medication.

Repeat prescriptions should not be ordered over the telephone.

 

Dispensary

The Tolsey Surgery is a dispensing practice. 

We keep a stock of  acute and repeat prescription medication. If a particular medicine is out of stock it can usually be obtained within 48 hours.

Repeat prescriptions need to be ordered 48 hours in advance. Repeat requests can be made using the slip attached to your prescription, by fax or via this website.

Please do not order by phone.

If you require medication urgently it can usually be obtained on the day.

We can also supply private prescription medicines eg, travel medication.

The dispensary is open:-

Monday to Friday --- 8:30am to 2:00pm and 3:00pm to 6:30pm

NEW PRESCRIPTION CHARGES

Please note that from the 1st of April 2008 the standard prescription charge in England will rise to £7.10.

NEW DRUG DELIVERY SERVICE

We are starting a drug delivery service for our elderly housebound patients and those that have no transport. It will be a weekly or monthly delivery. Each patient will have a contract between the surgery and themselves to ensure an efficient service.

If you know someone that you feel would benefit from this service then please ask them to contact the surgery.

We intend to start this service in October 2008.
