If you need a repeat prescription you may either request your medication by clicking on the link above, post, or deliver your repeat prescription request to the surgery at least four working days before you intend to collect your medication.
It is also now possible to use our new automated system where patients can pick up their prescription and re-order medication for the following month at the same time, which reduces the number of visits to the surgery and ensures medication is ready for collection at the appropriate time.
Please note our online ordering system links directly with our clinical system, making it simpler for you and easier for us. If you don't have your log in details to access the new system, please ask at reception. Please ensure you have some form of identification with you when you collect your details.
Repeat prescriptions should not be ordered over the telephone.
If you would like to order your prescriptions via email, please use the following address - bswicb.tolseyprescriptions@nhs.net
If you would like to speak to a member of the Dispensary, please call 01666 840270 Option 4
(we will do our best to answer your call, the less busy times to call are during 8.30am to 10am and 1pm to 3pm)
Help with NHS costs
In England, around 90% of prescription items are dispensed free. This includes exemptions from charging for those on low incomes, such as:
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website.
